What will happen?
We’ll have a brief chat about what’s going on for you and complete a small amount of paperwork. Similar to massage therapy, I’ll then make you comfortable and warm on the treatment table, with candles lit and beautiful music playing in the background. However, in a Reiki session you will remain fully clothed.
Rather than massaging you, I will place my hands on or near your body in a series of positions, including around the head, shoulders, the stomach, feet and chakras (energy centres in the body). I will hold each position for 3 to 10 minutes depending on how much Reiki you will need at each position. You will feel your stress melt away. The whole treatment lasts between 45 to 60 minutes and leaves you feeling calm and relaxed. I’ve had clients tell me that this feeling has lasted for days.
